Do you mean Amis or Amos? The first is a text editor, the second the focus of
this list.

I once started an Amos2E compiler, but I never got far. I do, however, still
have a handconverted program, in which I tried to write re-useable E-routines
that simulated Amos ones. If anyone is interested, I could put them up for
downloading on my homepage.
I never got around the dynamic string allocation. Once you've got that, you're
on the way home. Also, I had a lot of problems writing a decent parser.
